“Ah!! Fuck, DaCosta what did you do to me?” said Qualin rubbing the strange red protrusion on his neck. “It hurts like hell”

“Stop whining. It’s a homing device. It’s too dangerous to take you back to base. Too many people want you dead. When I need you, I’ll find you. The homing signal is encrypted to my genotype, so no one can find you except me.”

“So what the hell am I suppose now?”

“Stay lost, don’t go back to your apartment, don’t associate with anyone you know and most of all; try not to get yourself killed.”

“Thanks DaCosta, you’re a real saint,” said Qualin sarcastically.

“Your welcome.” Said DaCosta deadpan and with one superhuman bound from his exo-suit he was gone.

“Asshole.” Added Qualin when DaCosta was well out of earshot.
