"Deke," Britt spoke to another holocop who wasn't on the grid and no where near the murder scene. "...get in touch with the buildings land lord and get access to the security video." Britt motioned as if Deke could see him.
"Give me twenty minutes." Officer Michaels heard what must be have been the voice of Heather Deacon aka "Deke" the holocops programmer extraordinar through Britt's own stream and he shook his head as he headed out to his squad car wondering how the holocops did it. They couldn't slap a pair of cuffs on someone, nor could they shoot a perp if needed. Strange days was what his father would say.
Britt circled the victims body and activated his passive scans. What could only be described as his aura or projection extended outward and began to pulse picking up any and all details it could, such as a digital fingerprint.
Once established it would read out along a heads up display in front of Britt's eyes as it floated over his surrounds. His passive scan beeped and the text began to type out:
