...that were not infected, in hopes of helping or assisting him in finding a cure.

Kenyata trouble

The world outside hasn't stopped. In the beginning of the infection, when people lost their emotions, this took humankind to an economical and industrial crisis. But there was no reaction. It just happened. And the economy and social order fell to a primitive shape. Eventually, those infected lost their sense of romance, family and friendship...

However, as people didn't also lose their intelligence, they still have something like the fear. More like an attitude against something inconvenient; in the worst situation they remain with their cold minds, but actually there's no reason to survive in the outside. It's only an eternal search to be satiated, and cannibalism is always an option.

Kenyata has two things in mind. The first is to search for his family in the hope of finding the source of the immunity in the RNA. He is aware that the VIHEL (Virus of Lost of Human Emotion, as it is known) is really a retrovirus and so the key is not in the DNA. But he lost contact with his family a long ago. And secondly, to locate an isolated place, in search of non-infected people that can help him out in his research.

To leave the complex which houses the labs, Kenyata first needs to take food reserves. There is an automatic food system with self-sufficient farms inside this place, which are completely sealed. But it feeds a lot of infected ones, so to open the farm will be the first problem to solve.
