... that he was breathing someone's dead bodies, he sped by the funeral home.

Unknown Spaces and Different People

Cooper awoke to the morning weather on a clock radio.

"Wait," he said, "I don't have a clock radio."

Cooper opened his eyes to an unfamiliar apartment. An HDTV sat above a fireplace across from the bed.

"Nice place," he thought, "but why am I here?"

Then he turned on his side. He was faced with a beautiful girl in next to nothing for clothes.

"That's why." He accidentally said out loud. The girl woke up. "Shit!" He said, again accidentally.

"Hey baby." The girl muttered, still half asleep.

Cooper jumped from the bed.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Look, I'm sorry, but that was sort of just a one night stand, I don't want you getting too dependent and needy ... I gotta go."

"What?"

"Sorry ... Where the hell are my jeans?"

"Over here. What are you talking about, Anderson? Whats wrong?" She asked, sounding concerned.

"Okay, being what this is, I don't expect much, but you could at least keep my name straight, it's Cooper, remember?"

"Anderson, this isn't funny. Stop."

"Okay, lady, I gotta go."

Cooper ran out of the bedroom, undid the chain, and the lock, and ran out the door, down the stairs, and onto the street.

"Whew!" He sighed. "Shit ... Where the hell am I?"

Back in the apartment a freaked out Katrina dialed the phone. Nobody answered. She hung up and dialed a new number.

"Hello?" Allison answered.

"Oh thank god, hey, it's Katrina."

"What's wrong, you sound upset."

"I am. Anderson just woke up and like freaked out, it was so scary. He like said I was a one night stand, and not to get attached, and that his name was Cooper. It was freaky. We've been together like 11 months, he's never done this before."

"That's weird, did he hurt you?"

"No, well yeah, but no, he was just mean, he's never been like that before."

"Well, did anything happen last night that he'd be mad about?"

"No, he visited his dad at the cemetery, he thinks I don't know, but his pants had grass stains on them. Then he came home, we ate dinner, we ..."

"Had sex?"

"Well, yeah, and then we went to bed."

"Well, I don't know what to say ... That's really weird. Maybe, wait until he gets home and see how he is."

"If he even comes home, he seemed like a completely different person."
